What if you could never be offended by anything. I mean, anything anyone would ever say or could ever do to you. Would you wait in line for this remedy like someone waiting in line for the next iPhone release? Well, being a person who is never offended is realistically in your reach. The Psalmist says it this way in Psalm 119:165: Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them.
What are you reaching for other than the Word of God?
If you reach for the advice of family or friends…
If you reach for some philosophical thought or approach…
If you reach for affirmation and opinions through social media…
You will inevitably find yourself offended.
But if you reach for the Word of God, He will give you His peace which will help you not to become so easily offended. BTW, nothing shall offend them who love His law. So, grow to absolutely love the Word of God more than anyone or anything then you’ll find yourself less offended by anyone or anything.
