Ministries

Serve at Commitment Community Church.  We know that it’s not always easy to get to know someone especially when you’re the “new kid on the block” or you’re not that “outgoing”. At Commitment we want to make things a bit easier. Our desire is to help you ease into engaging at Commitment through two simple, and natural ways: Relationships and Service.

Thanks for engaging with us as we try our best to engage with you!

About Future Church
Who is “Future Church”?

If you are a HS grad, and up to “thirty-something”; single or married, you are our “Future Church”!

Why “Future Church”?

We strongly believe that the “future” of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as His Church –rests now and one day will rest solely on the shoulders of our “young adults”. So, if we fail at preparing and connecting with them, we fail at sustaining the “future” of Commitment Community Church. But, most of all, we fail at proclaiming the Gospel into the next generation.

What is “Future Church”?

We’ve created an atmosphere that enables you to bond with those your age and to help you grow socially and in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You are the “future” of God’s Church, and we want to invest into your life!

About Men
Men’s Fellowship will meet every Saturday morning  at 7:30a.m. – “Men’s Fellowship” is a monthly gathering of men ages 18 and above. Here we meet to worship, pray, study the Scripture, and encourage each other during a time of fellowship.

Quarterly “Man Time Weekendl” – is a quarterly gathering of ALL MEN, no matter their age. Here the discipleship making process begins with our youngest boy. Men are encouraged to bring their sons and grand-sons, and our single mothers are even encouraged to leave their sons in the care of the Men of Commitment. During this time the men are inspired by our Senior Pastor to continue fighting the good fight of faith, remain submitted and committed to Christ, apply the authority of God’s Word to daily living, and to learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

All Pro Dad – The Men’s Ministry invites Dads and their boys and girls ages 8 to 17 to breakfast and a special message at the Chick Fil A in Sicklerville – Every 3rd Saturday

About CTF

Why Biblically based counseling?

There are two basic types of counseling offered in today’s society. The first is what we call secular counseling which basically attempts to answer life’s questions using the ideas of men without regard to God or the Bible. The second type is Biblical counseling which uses God and the Bible as its foundation. Here at CCC we will always focus on Biblical counseling as our primary method.

Our counseling is divided into three levels:

  1. Pastoral: Including our pastors and select church leaders.
  2. Lay Counselors: Trained members within the church body.
  3. Clinical Counselors: Professional counselors who adhere to Biblical principles in the course of their practice.

Who are your counselors?

Our counselors include our Pastors, select church leaders, trained lay counselors and professional clinical counselors.

What is the cost?

Current church members will be provided a maximum of four counseling sessions without charge. For additional sessions or long-term help and materials there may be a nominal fee requested.

When can I start?

All counseling assistance must begin with a prescreening meeting with a pastor or designated church leader. You will then be scheduled for a series of counseling sessions. These sessions will be primarily on Friday evenings. Additional times may be available on an emergency basis.

How long will sessions last?

We do not counsel indefinitely. We will provide up to four counseling sessions (about 45 minutes each). Depending on your need and our assessment we will determine if further help can be provided within CCC or a referral is needed.

What type of counseling is offered?

  • Premarital and Marriage
  • Family (including blended families)
  • Parenting
  • Youth Counseling
  • Life Issues
  • Crisis

To schedule an appointment, please call 856-566-8500.
