PSALM 32:1-3
1 Happy are those whose sins are forgiven, whose wrongs are pardoned. 2 Happy is the one whom theLORD does not accuse of doing wrong and who is free from all deceit. 3 When I did not confess my sins, I was worn out from crying all day long.
Do you remember being little and waiting in fear for your parents to discover something you had done wrong? Do you remember your happy relief when your transgression was found out and you were forgiven? When we sin, we don’t have to wait to be found out; God already knows. We need only to confess our sins to him; he gladly forgives.
