Matthew 5:5-7
5 “Blessed are the [a]gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
God gives us reason to be happy when we humbly seek him and, above all else, want to serve him. When you serve him, God would have you show the same mercy to others that he extends to you. Read for yourself about the blessings God offers you in Matthew 5:5-7.
