PSALM 130:1-4
1 From the depths of my despair I call to you, LORD.2 Hear my cry, O Lord; listen to my call for help! 3 If you kept a record of our sins, who could escape being condemned? 4 But you forgive us, so that we should stand in awe of you.
No matter how deep your despair over your sin may be, God always hears you when you call out to him. He is never far away; he always listens and, when you ask, he always forgives. And as amazing as it may be, when he forgives your sins, he also forgets them.
